about
The song is about a Whatsapp group me and my musician friends started called MEU (Musicians Exercise Unit). We wanted to help and encourage each other to look after ourselves, especially our mental health and maybe get fit. This was following a friend on the local music scene committing suicide. The song tries express the struggle to exercise regularly and how it clashes with the traditional image of the artist rock star. The video, released 12/5/20 features loads of people trying to exercise during the CV19 lockdown. They sent us video clips and we put them together to make a video. This is the wonderful result youtu.be/tiLhE1IPLWs
